When most people think of amethyst, the image that comes to mind is a richer green that the one that appears in this necklace. That’s why the appearance of the stones in this faceted necklace is such a pleasant surprise. They’re beautifully mint green coloured and cut into irregularly shaped beads to create an absolutely fabulous pieces of jewellery that’s refreshing just to look at. The necklace measures 18 inches long and will lie attractively across your collarbone. Each bead is 17 mm long and quality made with care by Como Blonde, a New York design team. The quality Como Blonde puts into its jewellery goes beyond the actual stones and beads used. The faceted green amethyst beads in this necklace by Como Blonde are individually knotted with fine green silk. This silk can be seen through the beads and perfectly complicates them. Look closely and you’ll see a miniscule perfectly shaped knot between each lovely bead. A dainty-looking sterling silver hook clasp is used to fasten the necklace. This clasp may be pretty and delicate-looking, but you can depend on it to last through many uses since it’s actually quite sturdy.
