It features a beautiful intertwined five-strand snake chain that finishes off into seven strands. Each of these strands ends with a lovely silver sculptural bud. The strands are varying lengths so that the shapes of each of the sculptural buds are visible. The entire necklace is made out of sterling silver and the drop of the necklace’s chain is 20 cm. This hugs the collarbone and the drops go down as far as 31 cm to draw attention to any cleavage you may want to show off. You can wear this delightful necklace with the matching small bud earrings or small bud hook earrings for a fully matched look. This Sara Hartley necklace is inspired by nature as a lot of her pieces are. The designer bases her jewellery on the idea of the continuation of the life cycle. She takes the influences of nature and breaks them down to their most simple forms to create very clean-lined, contemporary jewellery for the modern woman. Sara Hartley has a B.A. Honours Degree from Sir John Cass University. She has been designing and selling her work from her London studio ever since she graduated in 1996.
