Professionally trained in classic art and jewellery design, Hayward graduated from her Bachelor degree at University College London in 2004. She also took additional classes at London Metropolitan University and Central St. Martins.

Laura Hayward started her career selling handmade pieces on Portobello market. Her philosophy of ancient classic jewellery design has not changed from those early days at the London’s fashionable market to the fine jewellery boutiques today.

Heavily influenced by her classic training, Hayward jewelleries took inspiration from jewellery antiquity that dated as early as the 5th century B.C. From the Athens, Aphrodite’s to the latest Neptune collections, Hayward jewellery bring to any outfits a fusion of contemporary and ancient art that are fashionable and timeless.

Based in London, Hayward dedicated her time to create every piece of jewelleries herself. She intricately crafts every piece by hand from 9ct gold and preserves traditional beading techniques. Some pieces feature stunning black diamond. Some has a satin gold finish. There are necklaces and bracelets that are engraved with the Roman letters, signifying words of love. In 2008, Astley Clark competition named Laura Hayward the Jewellery Designer of The Year.
