Carolina Bucci

Carolina Bucci’s contemporary jewellery has recently featured in Harpers Bazaar, InStyle, Vogue, The Style Section, Hello magazine and The Financial Times, and is seen worn by many A-list celebrities across the globe. Carolina Bucci predominantly uses 18k gold and extensive use of silk and hand-applied enamels in her unique jewellery collections.

Carolina Bucci grew up in an environment of jewellers and jewellery; She was born and brought up in Florence, Italy where her family had been manufacturing fine gold jewelery since 1885. Carolina Bucci started getting involved in jewelry design at a young age, where she would recall designing her own birthday presents when she was 14. She would ask her father for something and then make him a sketch — which he would later have made by his jewellery establishment.

Carolina Bucci studied Fine Arts in Florence and Paris, before heading to New York in 1996, where she studied Studio Art at Marymount Manhattan College. Later on she went on to complete her studies in Jewellery Design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology.

What really makes Carolina Bucci’s jewellery stand out is the sense of childhood exuberance that she injects into her original collections. Carolina’s range of unique bracelets and necklaces have a sense of fun and playfulness, which combined with a tradition of Florentine artisanship leads to distinctly hip and modern collections.

But although fashionable and modern, Carolina Bucci’s jewelry manages to gain appeal to a wide audience of varying age and style.
