Here’s a delightful necklace created by the French jewellery designer, Laurent Rivaud. He is the owner of R Jewellery and has been designing the jewellery collections of Vivienne Westwood since 1994. Rivaud is very detail oriented when creating his jewellery designs. First he draws a detailed sketch of his concept. After that he creates a wax model of the piece to work with. R Jewellery uses a limited palette of colours as can be seen with this striking Heroine necklace. It features two rows of sterling silver chains, one darker than the other. The dark sterling chain has small stones embedded in it that call attention to the deep brown marcasite stones. Pyramid in shape, these marcasite stones reflect the light and give off lighter shades of deep brown when examined closely. This 47 cm necklace fastens with a clip and can be adjusted to a shorter length if desired. Slightly gothic in its design, the Heroine necklace by R Jewellery is an impressive piece of jewellery that’s unique enough to make people wonder where you got it from.
