The Loyal necklace from R Jewellery is a very unique piece of jewellery featuring a gothic inspired design and fascinating gold plated spears on the pendant. The pendant is striking and long. It’s made out of agate stone. This agate stone pendant is accented by two dark sterling silver leaves. A close look at these sterling silver leaves reveals amazing craftsmanship and artfully placed tiny marcasite stones. The necklace is 41 cm long and has no fastening. It slips over the heat. Near the back of the silver chain is the signature R coin so you know you’re getting an original piece of work from this designer. R Jewellery is the company of the Frenchman Laurent Rivaud. Laurent has years of experience designing jewellery and has been designing the jewellery collections of Vivienne Westwood since 1994. The designer is a graduate of the Ber?ot Studio. He has from time to time designed catwalk jewellery for Yves Saint-Laurent and Chlo? and has also worked with Thierry Mugler for three years. In 2003 Laurent founded R Jewellery. The design philosophy of R Jewellery is simple. It needs to superbly crafted from hand. Each design begins with a details sketch. The Laurent creates a wax model using ancient techniques that have been used for years to make old jewellery. The piece of jewellery is then made from the wax.
