Alex Bittar Lucite bangles
Exquisite, hand carved, Lucite bangles designed by Brooklyn born jewellery designer, Alex Bittar. The bangles features a gentle hint of the Far East in their subtle colours and illusive branch and blossom designs. Inspired by Chinese wallpaper from the V&A collection this hand made, hand painted, exclusive work is fastened with a swarovski crystal clasp. Alex Bittar’s designs have been influenced by the glass works of Lalique, popular at the turn of the eighteenth century. The designer is also an international trend setter and has garnered loyal followers since his work appeared on a hit American television series ‘Sex in the City’.
lovers knot necklace
Designer, Betty Jackson, has created for the Cherry on the Cake collection an intricate and wonderfully romantic necklace of interwoven hand made silk fabric and semi precious stones. Appropriately she has called her creation Lovers Knot Necklace. It speaks volumes of the exciting, yet sometimes chaotic, interpersonal relationship of couples in love. Whimsically it is fastened by an over size silver ring and clasp. The piece is available in both black and pink. Betty Jackson launched her business in 1981 as was awarded an M.B.E. in 1987 for her fashions that are sold around the world.

Smoky Quartz Ribbon Cuff by Pippa Small

‘Smoky Quartz’ Ribbon Cuff, by designer Pippa Small, is a true ‘spirit of the source’ since it was inspired by the Klaus Waltz’s metal gate in the Ironwork gallery at the V&A. “… he turned metal into ribbon!” exclaimed the designer of the Smoky Quartz Ribbon Cuff. Curls of gold plated silver whirl together studded by bright smoky quartz stones. This piece is a confection of beauty and fantasy. As a designer Pippa Small has collaborated with such well known artists as Gucci, Nichole Farhi and Chloe.

Mounir has fashioned the 'Domed' Cognac Quartz Pendant

Created exclusively for Cherry on the Cake the famed designers of Mounir has fashioned the ‘Domed’ Cognac Quartz Pendant. The piece is comprised of a stunning dome shaped cognac quartz crafted to be reminiscent of the domes of Islamic architecture as seen in the V&A’s Jameel Gallery of Islamic Art. Mounir has capped the cognac jewel with an intricate 24k gold design. The house of Mounir is the combination of a husband and wife team, Corinne and Mounir Srouji. All Mounir pieces are hand made in their studio in London.
